Painting with Flowers: Workshop with Sasha Sheppard

Gather your friends or family for a delightful and creative afternoon with our "Paint with Flowers" workshop! Perfect for groups of 2-3 people, this private session is an opportunity to explore the art of botanical design in a relaxing and intimate setting..

What to Expect:

  • Flower Pressing: Learn how to create your own flower press and discover the techniques for pressing a variety of flowers.

  • Artistic Techniques: Dive into composition and materials as you craft your unique botanical artwork.

  • Framing: Complete your masterpiece and have it professionally framed, ready to adorn your space.

  • Duration: 20-30 Mins.

    We’ll start with crush course on pressing technique. I will bring my handmade from recycle materials press, explain how to build a press, show all materials needed for pressing flowers, and show how to press a few different varieties of flowers. 

    Students will learn a few tricks and secrets of successful flower pressing and storing pressed flowers.

  • Make you own Botanical collage (8x10”) ready to frame.

    You will be provided all necessary materials (fresh flowers, hand pressed local flowers, watercolor paper, brush and glue, and frame 8x10”) and most importantly gentle guide through creating piece of art ready to frame.      

    We’ll talk about composition, how to embrace your creative selves and create your own unique art.
